The red-and-white shemagh is the national headcloth of Jordan, worn from Bedouin tents in the badia to government halls in Amman. The bold geometric grid is woven, not printed, and the red-on-white palette distinguishes it from the black-and-white Palestinian keffiyeh worn across the river. The Sadu
Sadu is the Bedouin weaving tradition of the Jordanian badia and Wadi Rum, practiced for generations on ground looms by women using camel and sheep wool. The Keffiyeh
