The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF) is a Sharjah-based international humanitarian organization founded in 2015 by Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah. Their mission is to protect and empower vulnerable children and families across the Arab world, providing aid, dignity, and a path forward to those who need it most.
We chose to partner with TBHF because their values mirror ours: a deep commitment to the Arab world, a belief in the strength of community, and a refusal to look away when people need help.
For Gaza – أطفال الزيتون
This Ramadan, our campaign supports children in Gaza who have lost limbs. These are children who have endured unimaginable hardship, yet continue to show extraordinary courage every single day.
They are not victims. They are symbols of heroism, wholeness, and hope. They lost limbs, not their place in life.
Funds raised through this campaign go directly toward rehabilitation, prosthetics, and programs that help these children rebuild their futures; because every child deserves the chance to stand tall, to play, to dream. This is a zakat-eligible program, so your contributions can count toward your zakat this Ramadan.
How You Can Participate
We have made it simple to give back with every order:
1. Automatic Donation with Every Order
During Ramadan, zamani donates $3 USD to The Big Heart Foundation on your behalf with every single order. You do not need to do anything extra – just shop as you normally would, and your purchase becomes an act of sadaqa on your behalf.
2. Add a Charity Wristband
At cart or checkout, you can add a keffiyeh or tatreez Charity Wristband. 100% of the wristband price goes directly to The Big Heart Foundation. It is a small addition that makes a meaningful difference.
Our regular zamani bands remain at full price; this is not a sale, although we do have some great offers on bundlers currently. The charity component is entirely separate, because we believe sadaqa should always come from the heart.
