Our home collection
zamani is a Dubai brand.
We started here, we pack and ship from here, and the UAE is still where more of our orders land than anywhere else. This is our home collection, and it is about to get bigger.

UAE watch bands: start with these two
The Dubai It wristband, made with The Giving Movement, and the sadu band, the Emirati design we have made the longest.
Sadu
Dubai it.
A reversible wristband with The Giving Movement, the other brand that grew up here. Two Dubai labels, one band, no watch required.
Sadu.
The Bedouin weave that UNESCO put on its Urgent Safeguarding list in 2011 under the UAE’s own file. On an Apple Watch, the one that fits is the sadu engraved band.
Woven on the ground. Worn on the wrist.
Sadu was made by women on ground looms, from camel fur and goat hair, in the reds, blacks and creams you can see here. It was never decoration. It was how a household announced itself, on a tent, a saddle, a cushion.
Ours is printed rather than woven, and we would rather say that plainly, but the geometry is the same geometry, whether it lands at the width of a watch band or a wristband.
The rest of the sadu line
One pattern, made for whatever is already on your wrist.
In the works
More Emirati designs are coming.
Sadu has carried this collection on its own for a long time, and one pattern is not a country. We are working on designs drawn from the Emirates itself rather than from the wider Gulf. No date until it is real, but this page is where they will land first.
The UAE is home to all of this too
More than 200 nationalities live in this country, and that is the real reason our catalogue looks the way it does. Almost every collection below exists because someone here asked us for it.
Palestine
Keffiyeh and tatreez, the collection we are still best known for.
Egypt
Hieroglyphs, the golden age of Cairo, and the tabla.
Lebanon
The cedar, and the coffee cups nobody reads honestly.
Syria
Damascene wood mosaic and the geometric stars above it.
Jordan
Shemagh red, and the patterns that travel with it.
Saudi
Shemagh, the emblem, and sadu from the other side of the border.
Desi
Block print and paisley, for the largest community in the country.
Persian
Tilework and miniature painting, in lapis and turquoise.
When to gift a UAE watch band
The UAE calendar is full of occasions where identity matters. These are the moments a heritage band means most.
UAE National Day
2 December. The biggest gifting day of the year here, and the week before it is when demand peaks.
Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha
New clothes, new watches, new bands. A heritage band outlasts any festival hamper.
Corporate and VIP gifting
Sadu is a culturally rooted corporate gift, and we do bulk orders for offices, hotels and events.
Graduations and milestones
For a graduate starting out, or for someone who has built a whole life in this country.
What is a UAE watch band?
A UAE watch band is a smartwatch or dress watch strap designed around Emirati cultural heritage. In the zamani collection that means sadu, the traditional Bedouin weaving art of the Arabian Peninsula, practised on ground looms by women of the Gulf for tents, camel saddles and clothing. UNESCO inscribed Al Sadu, traditional weaving skills in the United Arab Emirates, on its List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding in 2011, and moved it to the Representative List in 2025 after a safeguarding programme that ran for more than a decade. zamani makes sadu bands for Apple Watch, Samsung Galaxy Watch, Garmin, Huawei, WHOOP and most 18mm, 20mm and 22mm watches.
The pattern itself is bold and geometric, in the earthy reds, blacks and creams the original weavers worked in. Alongside it sits the Dubai It wristband, made with The Giving Movement, which is less about heritage and more about the city both brands were built in. Watch bands are printed on silicone, WHOOP bands on woven nylon, and the wristbands on woven polyester. More Emirati designs are in development. Orders inside the UAE usually arrive the next day.
Frequently asked questions
What UAE designs does zamani offer?
Today the collection is sadu, the Bedouin geometric weave, made as a watch band, an engraved band, a WHOOP band and a reversible wristband, plus the Dubai It wristband we made with The Giving Movement. More Emirati designs are in development and will appear on this page first.
Why is the UAE collection smaller than the others?
Honestly, because we grew outward before we grew at home. zamani was founded in Dubai and the earliest designs answered what the diaspora communities here were asking for. The Emirati line is the one we are expanding next.
Do UAE watch bands fit Apple Watch?
Yes. The sadu engraved band is the Apple Watch version and comes in both sizes, fitting 38 to 41mm and 42 to 49mm across every Apple Watch generation including Ultra, with no adapter. Sadu also fits Samsung Galaxy Watch, Garmin, Huawei GT, WHOOP 4.0 and 5.0, and any watch with a standard 18mm, 20mm or 22mm lug.
What is the sadu pattern?
Sadu is a traditional Bedouin weaving technique practised across the Arabian Peninsula, using bold geometric patterns in earthy tones, woven on ground looms by women for tents, camel saddles and clothing. UNESCO inscribed the UAE’s Al Sadu on its Urgent Safeguarding list in 2011 and moved it to the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2025. The zamani sadu band brings that pattern to your wrist.
What is the Dubai It wristband?
A reversible woven wristband made with The Giving Movement, the Dubai clothing brand. It is not a watch band and needs no watch. It is a collaboration between two labels that both started in this city, which is the whole point of it.
Are UAE watch bands a good gift for UAE National Day?
Yes. UAE National Day on 2 December is one of the most popular gifting occasions for Emiratis and UAE residents alike. A sadu band is a culturally rooted alternative to a conventional gift. Order at least a week before to be safe.
Do you ship within the UAE?
Yes, and it is where we ship from. Most UAE orders arrive the next day, with free delivery on orders over 130 AED. Every emirate is covered: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain.
Can I order in bulk for corporate gifting?
Yes. zamani takes wholesale and bulk orders for corporate gifting, hotel amenities and event gifts, and sadu is the design UAE companies ask for most. Email [email protected] or see the wholesale page for pricing and minimums.
What are the bands made from?
Watch bands are premium silicone with a soft matte finish. WHOOP bands are woven nylon, not silicone. The reversible wristbands are woven polyester. All of them are water-resistant, sweat-resistant and built for Gulf heat, and the patterns are printed to last rather than dyed on the surface.
