Why We Chose the Wrist
When we first started zamani, one of the biggest questions we asked ourselves was: Where does heritage belong in everyday life? We explored a lot of ideas, but we kept coming back to the same place.
The wrist.
A band might seem small, but it carries big meaning. It’s visible, personal, and always with you, like a story you never put down.
Why The Wrist?
Because it moves with you. It’s there at work, at the gym, at dinner, on flights, on ordinary days and meaningful ones. It’s one of the most natural and accessible canvases for design. Unlike something that stays on a wall or a shelf, it doesn’t get left behind.
Heritage shouldn’t either.
Small Space, Big Story
The wrist gave us structure. A small, defined space where we could reinterpret patterns, simplifying them, modernising them, letting them live in today’s world without losing where they came from. A heritage band lets you carry culture in a way that’s subtle, modern, and powerful. You don’t have to explain it, but when someone notices, it sparks conversation.
That’s why we chose the wrist. Simple. Personal. Everyday.
