Ramadan Giving Results: Over $3,000 Raised for Gaza
This Ramadan, we partnered with the Big Heart Foundation, a Sharjah-based charity founded by Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, to support children in Gaza who have lost limbs.
The campaign was simple: $3 from every order went directly to the Big Heart Foundation’s “For Gaza” program, providing prosthetics and rehabilitation for children affected by the conflict. We also offered charity wristbands where 100% of the price was donated. You can read the full campaign details in our original Ramadan Giving post.
That number is not just dollars. It represents hundreds of orders from people across the world who chose to make their purchase count for something beyond themselves.
We want to thank every single customer who was part of this. Whether you bought a band for yourself, gifted one to a friend, or added a charity wristband at checkout, you made a difference.
Heritage is not just about where we come from. It is about what we do for each other. This Ramadan reminded us of that, and we are grateful.
About the For Gaza Campaign
Last Ramadan, The Big Heart Foundation launched the For Gaza campaign. Through collective efforts and shared solidarity, the campaign delivered sustainable care to more than 555 orphaned children in Gaza.
Today, more than 1,000 children living with limb amputations are navigating ongoing physical and emotional hardship while awaiting access to prosthetic limbs, assistive devices, and the rehabilitation support they need to move, learn, and grow with dignity.
In partnership with Taawon, The Big Heart Foundation continues the “For Gaza” campaign through a comprehensive care program supporting children with limb amputations. The program provides custom prosthetic limbs, assistive devices, rehabilitation, and psychosocial support under a three-year commitment, with ongoing follow-up that responds to each child’s growth and evolving needs until the age of 18.
With continued collective support, children with limb amputations in Gaza can regain mobility and take meaningful steps toward recovery and a life lived with dignity. You can learn more or donate directly at tbhf.ae.
Eid Mubarak from the zamani family.
