Tatreez, Palestinian cross-stitch embroidery, is one of the most culturally layered textile traditions in the Arab world. Each region developed its own distinct patterns, colours, and motifs. Historically, a woman’s embroidered thobe could tell you her village, marital status, and family lineage. In 2021, UNESCO inscribed Palestinian embroidery on its Intangible Cultural Heritage list. We traced the geometric precision of those stitches to create a band that carries that legacy on your wrist.
